Paint Protection Film (PPF)

*Please note, a deposit is required for this service. Booking made over the phone or email* Paint protection film (PPF) is the ultimate way to protect your vehicles paintwork. PPF is a clear self healing film applied to your vehicle to prevent scratches, stone chips, and make washing and bug removal much easier. This self healing film (yes really!) is virtually invisible and is typically applied to areas that take a lot of wear and tear such as bumpers, lower wheel arches, Wing Mirrors etc, but PPF can be applied to your whole vehicle to keep it protected for up to 7 to 10 years. Please note: Installation can take varying amounts of time, depending on the difficulty, size and to allow for curing and healing times. For the protection package an average time would be between 3 to 4 days. Preparation for PPF is the same process as used when applying a Ceramic coating. Paint work is thoroughly cleansed, corrected to remove any imperfections, followed by a machine polish. Paint work is then surgically cleaned to remove any excess polishing oils, this allows for a perfect bond to the clear coat. PPF is then applied. PPF also holds self healing properties that allow some weaker less deep scuffs and swirls to be healed and disappear if hot water is poured directly onto said scratch, but this self healing property can diminish slowly over years. Our Basic protection package starts at 650.00 all inclusive and includes -Front number plate -Wing mirrors -Front bumper strip -Top of rear bumper for boot traffic -Bonnet bra -Headlights -Bottom protection of wheel arches - Base price as a guide is £650.00 all inclusive, depending on size and paint condition of vehicle -This includes a wash and panel preparation and polish of the entire vehicle. Other options -FULL bonnet -Door handle catches -Door strip -rear headlights -whole car -replacement of PPF such as original factory fitted PPF segments that need replacing, requests are welcome.
